Description
Leveraging Fun for Employee Engagement, Performance, and Retention
Remember the best job you ever had? I’ll bet you were also highly productive and engaged – and having fun! Whether you are a one-person team or are part of a large organization, come learn how you can rekindle that magic! We’re not talking pizza parties and silly hats though. That type of goofy fun doesn’t motivate or last. Instead, this interactive session is based on the latest research, which says for maximum impact, fun must be engrained in the work – not special events separate from it. When the work tasks, work environment, and work relationships are fun, employees engage, perform, and stay. You’ll apply tools to analyze your work experience and develop an action plan that even the most curmudgeon Operations VP will embrace.
Learning objectives:
- Understand how notions of workplace fun have evolved and how a new definition leads to greater engagement, performance, and retention.
- Determine your “Fun Factor” by diagnosing your current work situation.
- Learn how to have more fun in your work to boost performance.
